Various gases present in the air, including pollutants like nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), are measured using analytical instruments.
Factors such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, and direction are recorded to understand the influence of weather on air quality.
The collected data is compared to air quality standards and guidelines set by regulatory bodies. It helps in identifying pollution sources, evaluating air pollution levels, and assessing potential health risks to humans and the environment
